Self Healing DVD-ROM
Self healing has been practiced for thousands of years among all people
and all nations. Only in the 20th century has it become illegal and dangerous
to use plants and spiritual awareness to heal oneself. Instead we are forced
to cut ourselves open and patent chemicals dispensed by reductionist doctors.
This compilation seeks to integrate ancient knowledge of natural medicine
with the hidden power of shamanic healing, our luminous bodies, cannabis and
herbal medicine and the biology of belief. It seeks to create a natural path
to self knowledge and healing that is accessible to everyone.

"Utah Raid - SWAT Raid.avi" - a short clip taken from an infamous raid
on an outdoor rave in Utah. Watch as a group of ecstatic self-healers are
brought to a abrupt halt by helicopters, armed men and attack dogs.
Included as a metaphor of how our culture treats practices of self-healing.
"Ibogaine - Rite of Passage.avi" - a documentary on the healing abilities
of the entheogenic plant Iboga, which has been used in Africa by shaman in
healing ceremonies for centuries or more. Ibogain, the plants extract, has
been found to provide "cure" for withdrawal symptoms in people addicted to
heroin and other hard. Iboga gives the self-healer an opportunity to know
themselves through their own experiences and take responsibility.
